Quilt and Craft Fair (Sydney): Shades of White

Come and discover the story of the colour white as used in fashion. Learn how the colour has particular meanings for people. Find out when white became popular for clothing and for which particular items of clothing. There will be gowns from 1840 to1980 and many other ‘white’ items on display at The Cavalcade of History and Fashion’s stand this year.
Daily floor talks at 11.30am and 2.30pm. Come and hear the stories about why white was worn.
