The Art of the Cut: 1930s Evening Gowns

The simple lines of the early thirties hugged the curves of the body. It evolved into a slender, elongated torso with widening shoulders and skirts flaring out slightly at the ankle and short, softly waved hair.  Though the lines were simple, the overall effect was one of complete femininity.
